“You’re off to Great Places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, So… get on your way!”
-Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You’ll Go!
Though you are leaving Chi Omega, you will always be our sisters! We will miss all of our graduating sisters: Caitlin Weir, Alex Piersanti, Katelyn Jeffries, Emily Steiskal, Hannah Stolzenberg, Katie Nowak, and Avery Heldt. They have made an immeasurable impact on our sisterhood, and we know they can accomplish anything they put their minds to and become the leaders they are meant to be.
Good luck in everything you do, ladies! We know that you will succeed and shine wherever you go! And don’t ever forget–you are always in our hearts!
Thanks to the generous donations of family and community members, we raised $3000 at our Wings for Wishes event several months ago. We are very excited to announce that this qualified us to grant a wish! We recently learned the wish we were able to grant: it was for a three year old boy named Johan, who wished to receive a large aquarium. During his time at Children’s Hospital, he would stare at their large fish tank “for hours,” fascinated by the beautiful, colorful fish. The tank provided a distraction during a stressful time, and we are overjoyed to provide Johan with a gift that represents such hope, strength, and joy!
Thank you to everyone who supported us and made this possible! This is truly an amazing opportunity to make a difference in a young boy’s life!
We are so proud to announce that we have won 7 out of 10 possible Greek life awards at this year’s Student Org and Greek Life awards banquet!! We won the awards for Membership Development, Leadership Development, Community & Service Development, and Chapter of the Year! Individual awards went to Katie Harvancik for Greek Person of the Year, Elisabeth Beyer Schwartz for Outstanding Advisor, and Sarah Langford for Outstanding Alumna!
Congratulations to all of our individual winners and to Theta Delta for being such a positive beacon in the Carroll community! We could not be more grateful to have the opportunity to represent the values of Chi Omega, and we hope to continue to reach new heights!
Thank you to everyone who has supported us on our journey!
This year, the Chi Omega Theta Delta chapter hosted a “Wings for Wishes” fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. With thousands of wings sold, generous donations from guests, and a guest appearance by Wish child Kali, it was a massive success, and we raised $3,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Thank you so much to everyone who generously donated to this wonderful cause and helped Chi Omega make Wings for Wishes such a successful evening! We all had a great time setting everything up and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! So again, thank you to everyone who contributed to this fantastic event, and we hope to see you again next year!!
Congratulations to our 2014 Executive Board and Cardinal Cabinet!
